Redmi has launched the Redmi Note 17 Pro Refreshed Edition in China with new colour options and memory configuration changes. The new model does not introduce major hardware upgrades over the original Redmi Note 17 Pro, which debuted earlier this year.
The refreshed edition comes in three colours and offers three RAM and storage combinations. Redmi has also removed two of the original model’s higher-memory configurations while introducing a new 6GB RAM variant with 256GB of storage. The processor, battery, charging speed and rear camera remain unchanged.
Redmi Note 17 Pro Refreshed Edition Price and Variants
The Redmi Note 17 Pro Refreshed Edition is available in China at a starting price of CNY 1,599. Interestingly, the 6GB RAM + 256GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variants cost the same. Here are the prices of all three configurations:

What’s Different From the Original Redmi Note 17 Pro?
The refreshed Redmi Note 17 Pro brings changes to its appearance and memory configurations, while retaining the core hardware of the original model.
The refreshed edition is available in Sand Orange, Energetic Green and Black. Sand Orange and Energetic Green are new additions, while Black has been carried over from the original lineup. The earlier White, Sky Blue and Nebula Purple options are no longer available in the refreshed range.
Secondly, Redmi has introduced a 6GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration. The refreshed model also retains the 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB options.
The original Redmi Note 17 Pro was available in 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 8GB + 512GB and 12GB + 256GB variants. The refreshed lineup drops the 8GB + 512GB and 12GB + 256GB configurations.
The refreshed edition continues to use the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor and a 9,000mAh battery with 67W wired charging support. It also retains the 50-megapixel primary rear camera.

It is worth noting that the global version has different battery specifications. Launched in late August, the global Redmi Note 17 Pro packs an 8,340mAh battery instead of the 9,000mAh unit found in the Chinese model.
Will the Refreshed Redmi Note 17 Pro Launch in India?
Redmi has launched the refreshed Redmi Note 17 Pro in China but there is no confirmed information about its availability in India. The company has not announced an India launch date or confirmed whether the refreshed edition will reach outside the Chinese market.
