  • The Xiaomi Pad 9 has received BIS certification in India hinting at an upcoming launch with specs likely similar to its Chinese variant.
  • The Redmi Pad 3 has been spotted on UAE’s TDRA database to confirm its retail name and Wi‑Fi‑only configuration.

The Xiaomi Pad 9 and Redmi Pad 3 have surfaced on certification websites, hinting at their upcoming launches. The Indian variant of the Xiaomi Pad 9 has appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) database, while the Redmi Pad 3 has been spotted on the UAE’s Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) website.

The latest listings reveal their model numbers and provide new clues about the tablets’ availability, although their launch dates and complete specifications remain unconfirmed.

The Redmi Pad 3’s appearance on the TDRA database also confirms its retail name ahead of launch. Both tablets were previously spotted on the European Economic Community (EEC) certification database.

An upcoming Xiaomi tablet carrying the model number 26103RP65I has appeared on India’s BIS certification database. The certification was granted on October 6, 2026.

Although the BIS listing does not mention the Xiaomi Pad 9 name, the model number was previously spotted in the HyperOS 9 code by tipster Kacper Skrzypek, who identified it as the Indian variant of the tablet.

The tipster also revealed the global variant’s model number 26103RP65G. The two model numbers differ only in their final letters, with ‘I’ indicating the Indian variant and ‘G’ associated with the global model.

The certification listing does not reveal the tablet’s hardware specifications or confirm its launch date. However, the appearance of the device on the BIS database suggests that Xiaomi is preparing the tablet for the Indian market.

The Xiaomi Pad 9 has already launched in China, giving us an indication of what its Indian and global variants could offer. Both versions are expected to feature the same specifications as the Chinese model. This expectation is partly based on the Xiaomi Pad 8, whose Indian and global variants were introduced with the same specifications as its Chinese counterpart.

Xiaomi Pad 9 Chinese version key specs –

  • 2″ Display with 3200×2136 pixels resolution
  • 13MP Camera
  • 8/12GB RAM
  • Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor
  • 9720mAh Battery
  • 67W Charging

However, Xiaomi has yet to confirm whether it will follow the same approach with the Pad 9. More information about the tablet’s hardware and market rollout is expected closer to its launch.

Redmi Pad 3 TDRA Certification Details

The Redmi Pad 3 has appeared on the UAE’s TDRA certification database, revealing its official moniker alongside its model number. The tablet is listed with the model number 2610FRP38G and equipment registration number ER66067/26.

The certification was issued on October 7, 2026 and the listing also identifies the device as a Wi-Fi-only tablet. This could also mean that this version will not offer cellular connectivity.

The same model number had appeared on the European EEC certification database last month but its retail name was not known at the time. The latest TDRA listing has now confirmed that the device will launch as the Redmi Pad 3.

However, the certification does not reveal the tablet’s key hardware specifications and Xiaomi has not announced its price or availability.

Xiaomi Pad 9 and Redmi Pad 3 Launch Timeline

Neither Xiaomi Pad 9 nor Redmi Pad 3 has received an official launch date so far.

Interestingly, the model numbers of both tablets begin with the ‘2610’ prefix. This could point towards a possible October 2026 launch, although the prefix alone is not sufficient to establish their actual launch timelines.

Certification dates and model-number patterns can offer clues about upcoming devices, but they do not guarantee that a product will launch in the same month. Xiaomi has yet to confirm the launch dates and market availability of either tablet.

The Xiaomi Pad 9 is expected to arrive in India and other global markets with specifications similar to its Chinese counterpart. Meanwhile, the Redmi Pad 3’s TDRA listing confirms its name and Wi-Fi-only configuration, but further details about its launch remain unavailable.

What to Expect

The latest certification developments suggest that Xiaomi is preparing to expand its tablet portfolio with the Xiaomi Pad 9 and Redmi Pad 3. The BIS listing indicates progress towards the Xiaomi Pad 9’s Indian launch, while the TDRA certification confirms the Redmi Pad 3 name and its Wi-Fi-only configuration.

Both tablets could launch as early as October 2026 based on their model-number prefixes but this remains speculative. Their official launch dates, pricing and availability details are still awaited.
