However, iQOO has not revealed the exact launch date or when the phone will go on sale.

iQOO 16 Expected Specifications
The iQOO 16 has already launched in China and features a 2K AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 165Hz. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset aan nd 8,400mAh battery. It also features 50MP rear cameras and run OriginOS 7.
However, these details are based on the China model and reported specifications. iQOO has not yet confirmed the complete specifications of the Indian variant, so some features could differ when the phone launches here.
iQOO 16 Processor and Gaming Features
The Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 is expected to be at the heart of the iQOO 16’s performance. The chipset is reported to use a 2nm manufacturing process and deliver a benchmark score of approximately 5.57 million points on AnTuTu.
To manage temperatures during demanding gaming sessions, the phone reportedly uses an 8,500mm² single-layer 3D vapour chamber. This cooling system sits closer to key heat-generating components and works alongside a three-layer graphite arrangement with a combined area of 29,453mm².
The smartphone features an updated Monster Hyper-Core Engine and an embedded Hyper-Core scheduler to manage workloads and performance. Another key component is the Q4 gaming chip, which reportedly adds full-scene ray tracing and a QNSS super-rendering engine. It is also said to offer native QNSS rendering profiles in 11 games, 2K super-resolution in 13 games and 165fps modes across hundreds of titles.
These capabilities suggest that gaming will be a major focus of the iQOO 16. However, the processor name, benchmark figures and individual gaming features will need to be confirmed for the Indian version.
