Vivo V80 India Launch Confirmed
The Vivo V80 is confirmed to launch in India on October 6. The smartphone will succeed the V70 series and is positioned as a premium mid-range device with a strong focus on cameras and battery life.
The V80 will feature a 6.75-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 5,000 nits peak brightness. Vivo has also confirmed a 7,200mAh battery, which the company describes as the biggest battery ever on a V-series phone. The battery will support 90W fast charging.
For photography, the V80 will feature a 50MP primary camera, 50MP telephoto camera and 50MP selfie camera. The phone will also have an ultra-wide camera with ZEISS optics. Vivo has confirmed focal lengths such as 85mm and 100mm for close-up portraits.
The camera system will be supported by more than 30 AI-powered creative features including AI Diwali Portrait 2.0. The phone will also support 4K Cinematic video recording.
On the software side, the V80 will run OriginOS 7 based on Android 17 out of the box. It will be the first Vivo phone to launch with this software version.
The Vivo V80 is confirmed to go on sale through Amazon India, with more availability details expected to be announced at launch.
Vivo V80 Expected Price in India
The Vivo V80 is tipped to start at Rs 63,000 for the 8GB + 128GB model. The 8GB + 256GB version could be priced at Rs 70,000, while the top-end 8GB + 512GB model is expected to cost Rs 80,000.

These prices are not officially confirmed. At the rumoured starting price, the V80 would be positioned against phones such as the OPPO Reno 16, which costs Rs 66,999.
Vivo S2 FE India Launch Confirmed for October 6
The Vivo S2 FE is also confirmed to launch in India on October 6 at 12 PM. The smartphone will be available through Flipkart.
Vivo has teased the phone with a green rear design, while the smartphone is expected to feature OriginOS and a dual rear camera setup. However, several specifications of the S2 FE are currently only expected or tipped. These include a 10,000mAh battery, a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chipset.
The S2 FE is expected to be priced between Rs 30,000 and Rs 40,000 in India.
