After months of anticipation, Vivo is finally preparing to bring its latest book-style foldable, Vivo X Fold 6, to India. If the latest reports are to be believed, the new-generation Vivo foldable will enter the Indian smartphone market as soon as October 6. Although the brand is yet to confirm the India launch date, the information comes from a reliable tipster online and follows recent confirmation of the foldable’s global launch date. According to tipster Abhishek Yadav on X, the Vivo X Fold 6 will launch in India on October 6 at 12 PM. The smartphone was launched in China earlier this year and is now set to make its way to international markets.
Previously, the global launch of the Vivo X Fold 6 was confirmed for October 1, which means India will get the foldable five days later.
The Vivo X Fold 6 was launched in China in June 2026 and has remained exclusive to the Chinese market so far. With the global launch coming after around four months, Vivo is now expanding its latest foldable to more markets.

The launch date is not the only thing confirmed by the tipster. According to the tipster’s latest post, Vivo will offer the X Fold 6 in India with two storage configurations including –

The India-specific colour options are tipped to include Prism Black and Nebula Teal. The phone is also expected to run OriginOS 7, which would be the latest software version for the global and Indian models.
