OnePlus N6 Lite To Launch in India on September 22: 7,000mAh Battery, 120Hz Display Confirmed

OnePlus has confirmed the India launch date of its upcoming OnePlus N6 Lite smartphone. The new N-series phone will arrive in the country on September 22 and will be sold through Amazon, the OnePlus India online store and select offline retail channels.  Apart from the launch date, the dedicated microsite on Amazon has also revealed several of its key features ahead of the launch. Here’s what we know about the smartphone so far.

As per the teasers, the OnePlus N6 Lite will be offered in two colour options named Midnight Hype and Neo Green. In terms of physical dimensions, the OnePlus N6 Lite will measure 8.95mm in thickness and weigh around 215 grams.

The smartphone will feature a 6.75-inch flat display with support for a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The screen will also feature Aqua Touch, which is designed to keep the touchscreen usable when the user’s fingers are wet or damp. It can also work when there is moisture or oil on the display surface.

OnePlus N6 Lite – Confirmed Specifications

The OnePlus N6 Lite will pack a 7,000mAh battery with OnePlus claiming up to three days of battery life on a single charge. The phone is claimed to provide up to 26.8 hours of video playback, 29.9 hours of Google Maps navigation and 49.7 hours of phone calls on a single charge.

Reverse wired charging will also be supported, allowing the N6 Lite to power other devices including audio accessories. OnePlus says the battery can retain more than 80 percent of its original health after six years of use. The battery has also been tested for 1,600 charging cycles.

OnePlus says the N6 Lite has been tested for MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability, suggesting that the phone is designed to withstand demanding usage conditions.

The smartphone will also come with 36 months of “Fluency Protection”. On the software side, OnePlus is adding AI-powered tools including AI Clear Face and AI Eraser.

The brand has not yet revealed the rest of the details such as chipset, camera and other specifications. We can expect more details to be announced on September 22, when the smartphone officially launches in India.
