According to reports, the Galaxy S26 FE model comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage and is priced at Rs 69,999. Samsung is also expected to sell an 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version for Rs 79,999.

The exact availability of both variants is not known at the moment. Moreover, Samsung has not yet listed the new prices on its official website, so the company is yet to formally update its India pricing.

The newly launched Galaxy S26 FE features a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 1080×2340-pixel resolution. The display supports a 120Hz refresh rate and gets Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. Its large screen should particularly appeal to people who use their phones for watching videos and other multimedia content.

Samsung has used an aluminium frame around the device, while the phone also features slim bezels. An IP68 rating adds protection against dust and water.

It is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chipset, which is the same processor used in last year’s Galaxy Z Flip7. It is a deca-core chipset manufactured using a 3nm process and was introduced in 2025.

Photography is handled by three cameras on the back that includes a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera and an 8MP telephoto camera. The telephoto sensor supports 3x optical zoom, while the phone can go up to 30x with digital zoom. This gives the Galaxy S26 FE coverage across the main types of smartphone photography, including standard, ultra-wide and zoom shots. For selfies and video calls, there is a 12MP front-facing camera.

Powering the Galaxy S26 FE is a 4,900mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.

On the software side, the Galaxy S26 FE ships with One UI 9 based on Android 17. Samsung is also promising seven Android OS upgrades, in addition to security updates. This gives the phone one of the longer software support commitments in its segment.

The phone will be sold in Blueberry, Graphite and Pistachio colour options.
