Vivo has officially confirmed the India launch date of its upcoming Vivo T5 Lite 44W 5G. The new T-series smartphone is scheduled to arrive next week as the successor to last year’s Vivo T4 Lite 5G. Ahead of the launch, the company has also revealed several key specifications including the battery, display, processor, durability features and software experience. Here’s all we know so far.

Vivo T5 Lite 44W 5G India Launch Date Confirmed
The Vivo T5 Lite 5G will launch in India on July 16 at 12 PM IST. Official teasers showcase the smartphone in Light Blue and Black colour options. The device also features a dual rear camera setup on the back.
Vivo has confirmed that additional hardware details about the smartphone will be announced on July 11 through the dedicated product pages.
The smartphone will be available for purchase in India through Flipkart with dedicated teaser pages now live on both Flipkart and Vivo India’s websites.
Vivo T5 Lite 44W 5G – Key Features (Confirmed)
The Vivo T5 Lite 5G is confirmed to pack a 6,500mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. Compared to the Vivo T4 Lite 5G, which offered a 6,000mAh battery and 15W charging, the upcoming model brings improvements in both battery capacity and charging speed.
The handset will feature a display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,200 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, it will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset.
Vivo has also confirmed that the smartphone will come with military-grade durability and an IP65 rating for resistance against dust and water.
On the software front, the Vivo T5 Lite 44W 5G will run OriginOS 6 based on Android. The phone will also include several AI-powered features such as AI Creation, AI Captions, AI Transcript Assist, AI Documents and Private Space.
With the official launch just days away, Vivo is expected to reveal the remaining specifications, pricing, and availability details of the Vivo T5 Lite 5G during the launch event on July 16.
