Vivo has officially launched the Vivo Pad 5c in China as its newest Android tablet while expanding the Vivo Pad 5 lineup. The latest offering arrives with the same hardware and features as the recently introduced iQOO Pad 5c. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. Here’s everything you need to know about the newly launched Vivo pad.

Vivo Pad 5c – Price and Availability

The Vivo Pad 5c is currently on sale in China through Vivo’s official website. The price starts at CNY 2,699 (approximately Rs. 37,000) for the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at CNY 2,999 (around Rs. 41,000), while the top-end 12GB + 256GB model costs CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs. 47,000).

The tablet is available in Blueprint, Green and Grey colour options.

Vivo Pad 5c – Key Features

The Vivo Pad 5c sports a 12.1 inch 2.8K display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel is claimed to offer up to 900 nits of peak brightness. Powering the tablet is the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5x RAM, up to 256GB UFS 4.1 storage and OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.

For thermal management, Vivo has equipped the tablet with a 32,200mm² vapour chamber cooling system. The company also mentions a 3D cooling system to help maintain performance during demanding workloads.

Backing the device is a 10,000mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging. The tablet measures 266.43×192×6.62mm and weighs 584g.

In the camera department, the Vivo Pad 5c features an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. It is equipped with a four-speaker panoramic sound system and includes several AI-powered features such as AI PPT Assistant, Vivo File Transfer, and floating window support.

The tablet supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 with a connection range of 10 metres, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack for connectivity. It also offers facial recognition for security and comes preloaded with WPS Office.

Moreover, the Vivo Pad 5c is compatible with the Vivo Pencil 3 stylus and the Vivo Smart Touch Keyboard 5 that makes it suitable for productivity and creative tasks.
