OnePlus has launched the OnePlus N6 in India, expanding its N-series lineup with a smartphone focused on battery life, durability and everyday performance. The new handset brings a large 8,000mAh battery, MediaTek’s Dimensity 6360 Apex chipset, a 120Hz display, military-grade durability and OxygenOS 16. The OnePlus N6 has been launched in India at a starting price of INR 19,999 for the base variant after launch offers. The first sale of the device will begin on July 4, 2026, at 12:00 AM IST.

OnePlus N6 – Key features
The OnePlus N6 sports a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate offering smoother scrolling, animations, and gaming. The display supports up to 1,200 nits High Brightness Mode (HBM), ensuring better visibility and vibrant colours even under direct sunlight.
Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex chipset, which is claimed to achieve an AnTuTu score of over 615,800 for smooth day-to-day performance and responsive multitasking. To keep temperatures under control during intensive usage, the device features a 5,300mm² Vapour Chamber cooling system that is designed to efficiently dissipate heat during gaming, streaming, and multitasking.
The OnePlus N6 runs OxygenOS 16 out of the box. OnePlus has promised two major Android OS upgrades along with three years of security updates for the device.
One of the biggest highlights of the OnePlus N6 is its 8,000mAh battery, which the company claims can deliver up to three days of usage on a single charge. The battery supports 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging and includes several battery-focused features such as Bypass Charging, Night Charging Mode, Super Power Saving Mode, and 6.5W reverse charging.
OnePlus also claims the battery is designed to retain over 80 percent of its health after seven years, thanks to support for 1,600 complete charge cycles. The charging system incorporates four-layer charging safety protection, allowing safe operation in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 56°C, while also offering safeguards against overcharging, accidental drops, flat compression, and extreme environmental conditions.
In the camera department, the smartphone is equipped with a 50MP primary rear camera featuring an f/1.8 aperture, while selfies and video calls are handled by an 8MP front-facing camera.
The camera supports 1080p video recording at 60fps, 720p slow-motion recording at 120fps, and 1080p time-lapse recording at 30fps. Other camera features include Cinematic Video, Dual-View Video, up to 10x digital zoom, AI Portrait Glow, AI Perfect Shot, AI Eraser, AI Unblur, AI Reflection Eraser, AI Reframe and AI Detail Boost.
On the durability front, the smartphone comes with MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification having undergone tests for shock resistance, extreme temperatures ranging from 65°C to -60°C, rain, freezing conditions, salt corrosion, sand and dust storms, and repeated drop tests of up to 25 consecutive drops onto hard surfaces.
The phone also features ArmorShell Protection, a four-layer protection system comprising reinforced corners, airbag cushioning, strengthened glass and a reinforced aluminium frame to improve drop resistance. Additionally, it carries an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, making it suitable for everyday use.
For audio, the OnePlus N6 includes 400 percent Ultra Volume enabled by a larger acoustic chamber that delivers louder and clearer sound output.
