Nothing has officially unveiled the design of the upcoming Nothing Phone (4b) ahead of its India launch. After previously confirming the launch date, the company has now shared the first official look at the smartphone showing some of the key elements. Here’s more on that.
Nothing Phone (4b) Design Officially Revealed
The Phone (4b) continues Nothing’s signature transparent design approach while introducing a few notable changes that help create its own identity within the series.
Official images and a video teaser post on X show that the Nothing Phone (4b) draws inspiration from both the Phone (4a) and Phone (4a) Pro. The smartphone retains the brand’s recognisable transparent aesthetic though the transparent treatment is limited to the upper section surrounding the camera module similar to what was seen on the Phone (4a) Pro.

The lower portion of the rear panel adopts a cleaner and more minimal appearance resulting in a simpler overall design compared to some previous Nothing smartphones.
Another notable feature is the Glyph Bar, which first debuted on the Phone (4a). Unlike older Nothing devices that featured the larger Glyph Interface, the Phone (4b) uses a more compact implementation. Phone (4b) come with a Glyph Bar featuring five large LED lights compared to the seven LEDs found on earlier implementations.

The LED system is expected to continue offering visual notifications for incoming calls and messages, while also assisting users during photography by functioning as a camera timer indicator.
According to the company, the Phone (4b) has been designed with younger users in mind. Nothing says the handset combines a refined unibody construction with improved structural durability and a skin-friendly finish to enhance comfort during everyday use.
The official renders showcase the device in a blue colour option. However, leaks suggest that black and white variants may also be available at launch.
The smartphone features a flat plastic frame, black physical buttons, and a display surrounded by relatively slim bezels.

The listing also indicates that the smartphone will run Android 16 out of the box. In benchmark testing, the device reportedly achieved 1,088 points in the single-core test and 3,155 points in the multi-core test suggesting performance aimed at the premium mid-range segment.
