Vivo has officially launched the Vivo Y31s 5G in Malaysia. The smartphone model has been making appearances across several certification platforms in recent months. It is worth noting that this newly announced model is different from the Vivo Y31s 5G that was introduced in China back in 2021. Here’s everything you need to know about the newly launched smartphone.

As for pricing, the smartphone is priced at RM 1,499 (approximately Rs 35,226) for its sole 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant.
Vivo Y31s 5G – Key Specifications
The newly launched Vivo Y31s 5G sports a 6.745-inch Full HD display. The screen is capable of delivering up to 1,050 nits of peak brightness ensuring improved visibility under direct sunlight.
The phone arrives with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset built on a 4nm process. The octa-core processor brings 5G connectivity to the device, while software duties are handled by Vivo’s OriginOS 6.0 custom operating system.
The smartphone is available in a single memory configuration featuring 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
For photography, the handset is equipped with a dual-camera setup on the rear consisting of a 50-megapixel HD primary camera and a 2-megapixel bokeh sensor. A rear flash unit is also included. For selfies and video calls, Vivo has provided a 32-megapixel HD front-facing camera that the company markets as a group selfie camera.
One of the key highlights of the smartphone is its large 6,500mAh BlueVolt battery. The device also supports 44W FlashCharge fast charging technology for quicker refuelling. In terms of durability, the Vivo Y31s 5G comes with IP69+, IP69, and IP68-rated protection against dust and water ingress.
