Realme is continuing to tease new details about the upcoming Realme 16T 5G ahead of its India launch scheduled for May 22. Now, a fresh leak from a tipster on X has disclosed the smartphone’s expected pricing in the country. Here’s what we know.
Realme 16T 5G – India Price Leaked
As per the leaked information by tipster Abhishek Yadav @yabhishekhd on X, the Realme 16T 5G could arrive in three variants. The base 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model is said to be priced at ₹29,999. Meanwhile, the 8GB + 128GB version may cost ₹31,999, while the 8GB + 256GB option is tipped to launch at ₹33,999.
Adding more to the leak, the same tipster also repeated a few hardware-related details about the handset that have already been mentioned in different reports.
The phone is expected to feature noticeable bezels around the display and use an LCD panel. Under the hood, it could run on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and is expected to boot Android 16 out of the box. The device is also tipped to house a large 8,000mAh battery.
Realme 16T 5G’s Camera Specs Officially Revealed
Earlier in the day, Realme officially disclosed more information about the Realme 16T 5G’s camera setup, display technology, battery features and durability standards through promotional teasers and its microsite.
The company confirmed that the smartphone will feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX852 main camera with autofocus support and an f/1.8 aperture. The sensor will work alongside Realme’s LumaColor IMAGE Engine, which is designed to improve colour accuracy, textures, skin tones, and dynamic range using AI-driven processing.
Realme also stated that the handset will support RAW HDR imaging and customised white balance tuning. Another confirmed feature is AI Portrait Glow, which is designed to automatically optimise facial lighting in challenging lighting conditions such as low light or strong backlight. Users will also get multiple portrait lighting styles including Flash, Rim Light, Natural Light, and Studio Light.
The Realme 16T 5G will additionally offer a rear Selfie Mirror feature that lets users frame selfies using the primary rear camera. The smartphone is also expected to support AI Popout Collage that creates layered effects by placing subjects outside the image frame.

Other AI-powered additions include AI StyleMe, AI Profile Portrait, AI Football Star, AI Light Me, and AI Instant Clip. According to the company, AI Instant Clip can automatically generate short videos from photos and clips in roughly 10 seconds.

On the display side, Realme has confirmed that the device will support a 144Hz refresh rate and offer up to 2,100 nits peak brightness. The handset will also include a 400 percent Ultra Volume mode for louder audio output.
For durability, the smartphone is confirmed to feature an IP69 Pro rating for dust and water resistance. It will also come with military-grade shock resistance certification.
Based on an earlier Geekbench listing, the Realme 16T 5G is expected to use the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and may launch with at least 8GB RAM alongside Android 16.
The smartphone is also tipped to arrive in Starlight Black, Starlight Blue, and Starlight Red colour variants.

Meanwhile, previous teasers had already revealed that the Realme 16T 5G will pack an 8,000mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging. The device is also expected to support bypass charging and wired reverse charging. Realme claims the battery can deliver up to three days of usage on a single charge and retain healthy performance for as long as seven years.
The company also says the phone is built to deliver smooth performance for up to six years.
