OnePlus is reportedly preparing to launch the OnePlus Ace 7 alongside the upcoming OnePlus 16 in China later this year. Just to recall, the company followed a similar strategy last year when it introduced the OnePlus 15 and OnePlus Ace 6 together in its home market. Now, recent leaks suggest the brand could follow a similar launch strategy once again.
Notably, several details regarding the OnePlus 16 have already surfaced over the past few weeks. And a fresh leak has now revealed important specifications of the upcoming OnePlus Ace 7 as well.
OnePlus Ace 7 – Key Specs (Leaked)
According to a post shared on Weibo by tipster Digital Chat Station, the engineering prototype of the OnePlus Ace 7 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The leak suggests that the smartphone is being developed as a performance-focused flagship device.
Tipster has also revealed that OnePlus Ace 7 features a 6.78-inch flat OLED panel with 1.5K resolution support. The display is also said to offer an extremely high refresh rate. While the leak claims the refresh rate could potentially go as high as 240Hz, it mentions that the minimum confirmed refresh rate currently stands at 185Hz.
The smartphone is also tipped to pack a massive 9,000mAh battery, which would make it one of the largest batteries seen in a flagship smartphone. The device is expected to support 100W fast charging as well.
Interestingly, the tipster mentions that the engineering testing unit also packs an internal cooling fan for thermal management.
The latest leak does not reveal camera specifications of the OnePlus Ace 7.
