Ahead of the official announcement, important details about Vivo’s next S-series smartphone have surfaced online. Tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo recently posted about Vivo S60 lineup and here’s everything we know based on that.

Vivo V60 Lineup – Leaked Details

According to the latest leak, Vivo is currently testing a new “S” series smartphone prototype is believed to be part of the Vivo S60 lineup.

Last year’s Vivo S50 series included the Vivo S50 featuring a 6.59-inch display with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, while the Vivo S50 Pro Mini arrived with a smaller 6.32-inch screen and Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor.

The newly leaked Vivo S60 model is said to feature a 6.59-inch display with 1.5K resolution, large-radius corners, and a centrally aligned screen design. Based on the screen size, the leak is believed to be referring to the standard Vivo S60 variant.

The report further claims that the smartphone will adopt a large horizontal camera matrix design on the rear panel. Under the hood, the device could be powered by a Snapdragon 8s-series chipset. The phone is also tipped to pack a battery capacity beginning with “7,” which suggests a battery in the 7,000mAh range. It is also expected to support 90W fast charging technology.

For photography, the Vivo S60 prototype is reportedly equipped with a Sony IMX8-series mid-sized periscope telephoto camera sensor. Other expected features include a metal middle frame, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, and IP68/IP69-rated dust and water resistance. The device is also said to support magnetic accessories through specially designed magnetic cases.

The tipster additionally revealed that one of the engineering prototype colour options is a bold pink finish. The smartphone is also reportedly being developed in collaboration with a popular Chinese anime IP.

A previous report from last month suggested that the Vivo S60 lineup could support a telephoto extender accessory as well.

Launch Timeline

The Vivo S60 may also launch alongside the Vivo S60 Pro Mini, which is expected to continue the compact design approach seen in the previous generation.

The Vivo S50 Pro Mini was reportedly rebranded as the Vivo X300 FE in global markets outside China. Based on that strategy, the rumoured Vivo S60 Pro Mini could potentially launch internationally as the Vivo X500 FE during the first half of 2027.
