A new leak has revealed the possible colour options for the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro lineup. The details come from Macworld citing a source familiar with Apple’s supply chain. Here’s what we know.
iPhone 18 Pro Colour Options Revealed
According to the recent Macworld report, the signature new colour for this year’s Pro models could be “Dark Cherry.” The colour is being described as a deep and wine-like red finish. While earlier leaks had hinted at a “Dark Red” variant, this new shade is said to be closer to a wine tone rather than a bright red.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman and other tipsters had previously indicated that Apple was testing a red colour for the iPhone 18 Pro but it now appears that the final version will be more subtle compared to the Cosmic Orange finish seen on the iPhone 17 Pro.
The report further suggests that Apple is currently working on four colour options for the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max models. These include Light Blue (Pantone 2121) resembling the Mist Blue seen on the current generation, Dark Cherry (Pantone 6076), Dark Gray (Pantone 426C) and Silver (Pantone 427C).
However, the source notes that these colours are still under development and Apple may still make changes before the final launch.
First iPhone Foldable Colour Options
The report also touched on the upcoming foldable iPhone widely rumoured to be called the “iPhone Ultra.” According to the report, it could have a more restrained colour palette.
Unlike the Pro models, the foldable device is expected to skip bold finishes and said to be working on classic silver and white variants along with an Indigo option similar to the Deep Blue colour seen on the iPhone 17 Pro.
The same source also backs earlier leaks related to the foldable iPhone’s design. The device is expected to feature a dual rear camera setup along with a selfie camera on the outer display and another front camera positioned in the upper-left corner of the inner screen. When unfolded, the device is said to have a form factor similar to the iPad mini.
Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 18 Pro models and the foldable iPhone in September 2026. However, some analysts believe the foldable model could arrive later. Meanwhile, the standard iPhone 18, iPhone 18e and iPhone Air 2 are expected to launch in the first half of 2027.
